Dear David, Katharine and Amanda,
How are you doing?! First of all, I would like to thank you for your help. Because of your help, I have become more confident in my studies and in my ability to achieve my dreams. Thank you!
When I received the admission notice from this high school, I was very happy because I knew that I had already taken my first step to success. I knew that if I didn’t study, my life wouldn’t get better. Because I am poor, I have to study but my family has had financial difficulties. I even thought about giving up my education.
When I was just about to give up, my teacher called and told me there was an organization that could help me with my high school education. She said that they help poor students to receive their education and that they help girls who need an opportunity.
I came to this high school with hope. At this school, with the help of the teachers and my classmates, I have an even greater passion to study. My dream is to become a teacher myself and share my knowledge with other children. After graduation, I would like to look for a suitable job. With the income from my first job, I will be able to support my younger brother and allow him to have his education. Then, I can take part in other charitable activities while I am working.
Education can change one’s fate. Dreams make people work hard. I will study hard and fight for my dreams.
Yours,
Jin Hui
