Dear Dr. Phil,
How are you doing?! First of all, I would like to thank you for your help. Thank you for giving me the chance to continue my education.
When I received the admission notice from this high school, I was very excited because I could finally go to high school. But there was still another problem – there was a financial issue. My family is poor and they couldn't afford my tuition. I had kidney stones a few years ago and we spent lots of money on the surgery. In the next two years, my brother got kidney stones too but my family had no money at that time. We tried our best to help my brother.
My mother works on an orange farm. She does the weeding for them. This is the only financial resource for our family and she doesn’t make a lot of money. But, the bigger problem is that my mother got thyroid tumors this year. Now, my mother can only borrow money from others for the surgery.
When it was time to pay for my tuition, I was very lucky that I received your donation. My mother and I were both very happy. I was so excited that I hugged my mother. I told her that it was great because I could go to school after all. My mother was so excited she cried.
In school, I have good times every day with my classmates. They are very nice to me. Now, I can study hard like everybody else does. I hope one day, I can go to a top university and I will be able to see the world outside. Then, I will find a job. Maybe I will become a successful entrepreneur, so that my family can have a better life, especially my mother. For this reason, I have to study hard.
I wish you a good health and happy days.
